Why do you want a Pembroke?
I have never owned a corgi, but I love the big dog in a little body aspect. I love that they seem to be a very intelligent breed and are willing to work and be trained to do various jobs.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Currently our lab does a lot of swimming so we would try to do activist with that. Also would like to try therapy dog or good canine citizenship.

We live on a 7 acre parcel that we just built this house on. The only things other than the house are some enclosed trailers for the electrical buisness and our LP tanks. We have about 250 trees planted on the property as well.

Yes. It took my Siamese cat a few years before he accepted my dog. The puppy used to chase the cat and chew on him. We have corrected that behavior and now they lay and play together.
