Who is this dog for?

Me (Lois Phelps)

Why do you want a Pembroke?
This will be my 4th PWC. I love the breeds' "smarts" and attitude. I started with Border collies and can't image going outside the herding group. I switched to the PWC when I turned 50 in the mistaken belief that, because of their short legs, I would be able to keep up with them. I competed (but not titled) my Borders' in agility & flyball. I have "practiced/trained" agility with all my Pems.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
Depends upon the situation. I am a positive trainer, I hold a current CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed). I train according to ABC (Antecedent Behavior Consequence) meaning the A and/or C needs to change to affect behavior modification. I use lure & reward methods (what gets rewarded gets repeated). I use corrections…non-physical and humane. I refer you to the statement of ethics of the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT)

Discipline:
See above.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
In the house, crated as appropriate, fenced yard (also access to the bed, couch, etc.)
