Why do you want a Pembroke?
I have loved the breed since I was in grade school. Our neighbor had one and I walked him and adored him. I would love to save a corgi instead of purchasing from a breeder. I grew up with a German Shepherd lab mix and two cats. I have always adored animals. Not only are they the most adorable breed of dog, I admire the intelligence and loyalty of the corgi.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Take them to the dog beach, bring them back to my parents home who live on a half acre of land in the suburbs, take him/her to work every day at the brewery I work at. I'm a very active 23 year old so lots of walks, lots of snuggles, lots of love.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
The punishment would depend on the gravity of the mistake. With my old dog I learned that turning the incident into a learning process is much more beneficial than getting angry at the dog.

Discipline:
Squirt bottels, scolding, or time outs have all worked in the past. I learned a lot about having a dog growing up with Mac so I would apply what I had learned worked. I would also start to learn how my new corgi reacts to each punishment, helping me to realize which would work best for him or her.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
With me! I run the marketing team for a craft brewery and can bring my dog to work every day. They would have free reign of the office and courtyard during the work day and my spacious apartment after work.
