Questions Regarding Motivation for Adopting and Intentions
Who is this dog for?	This dog would be primarily for self (applicant #1).
Why do you want a Pembroke?	I have researched the breed and have compared them to the Cavalier. They share many similar qualities re: training, energy level, grooming needs, & companionship. I have also known and know people who have PWC and my own dogs loves them too. For the past 15 years I have owned Cavaliers. My first three cavaliers passed away from cardiac problems at the age of 9 years. My current Cavallier has no signs of cardiac disease.
Activities planned with Pembroke:	Training classes, walks in the park and/or in a doggie brigade once the dog is trained as a therapy dog visiting children's reading programs, nursing homes, participating in parades, family quality time . Other activities can include travel by car with family on vacations and/or family visits,

Where would dog eat?	The best recommended Corgi food. I like Freedom grain free foods but if the Corgi prefers canned food it will be premium canned dog food.
