Questions Regarding Motivation for Adopting and Intentions
Who is this dog for?	My family and myself! We currently have an 8 year old Tri-colored female Pembroke and would love to find a companion to her :)!!
Why do you want a Pembroke?	I would love to adopt a Pembroke Welsh corgi because I would love to find a companion for our 8 year old Corgi. I just love their personalities and love for life. They are amazing family dogs. Super loyal, trusting and so much fun. My experience has been great with our Corgi…I honestly don't know how I could ever another breed <3! Lots of research yes. Very familiar with how the breed is :)!
Activities planned with Pembroke:	Go for walks (if the dog is able), play outside in the yard (we have fenced in backyard), my other Corgi loves to play fetch and play with lots of toys so if another one is into that they could surely join in. Most importantly give it lots of love and attention <3

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:	Calmly. I would take the time to show the dog what they did incorrectly and them help them learn what to do the next time to prevent the mistake from happening again.
Discipline:	Use a positive, stern voice and tell them no. When they do something right, praise them and give them rewards or treats to teach them what is the correct behavior.
Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:	At home with my family and myself (Husband, Daughter Lola 5, Daughter Winnie 11 months). If the dog is friendly and able I would also be able to bring it to work with me on occasion. I am an Outpatient Therapy Coordinator at a Medical Care facility so I would love to be able to bring the dog to work with me to visit patients and residents as a therapy dog :)!

People at home during the day?	My husband and myself both work but we have weekends off all of the time. My husband works from 6-2:30pm and I work from 8-4:00 usually 4 days a week. So the longest they would be alone for is 6 hours at the most. My husband is able to go home and let the dog out during his lunch break at 11:30 on days where we both are working.
Where would dog eat?	In the kitchen where the dog food bowls are.
Where would dog sleep:	In our bedroom on a dog bed.
Play & exercise:	By taking them for a walk, for a rides in the car, taking them out in the yard to play etc… If they are able and anything like my other Corgi, they will get plenty of exercise chasing around my children who love to play!
How will you exercise your dog?	Both on leash and restrained to the yard

We already work with our 11 month old on how to be soft when petting animals and the best way to treat them. I have no doubt she will grow up being an little animal lover like her big sister and will treat animals just as good <3
