Who is this dog for?

This corgi is for Cody's parents, Patti and Keith. Patti and Keith lost their dog, Winnie, in October. I've spoke with Patti & Keith personally, and she said that they are ready to care for a new dog, and would love a corgi! There is always someone home at their house, and they have the time and dedication to give to a corgi. We were recommended to Lakeshore Rescue by our neighbors, Mike and Chris Slauson, who adopted their beloved, Karley from you. Cody and I are also huge Corgi fans and one day hope to adopt one of our own. But for now, we are focusing on fulfilling Patti & Keith's Christmas wish. Thanks so much!

Please note: I've completed this application for Patti and Keith in their perspective. All questions and answers are based on their dog ownership history/love for Corgis/want for a dog currently/etc.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I've had multiple conversations with Patti and Keith about why they love Corgi dogs. They noted that they love their stature, and outgoing nature. They really want a dog that they can snuggle with, and also take for walks, and they feel that the Corgi can do just that. They've researched the breed and understand its care, shedding, etc. They've had dogs in the past and look forward to adding a Corgi to their family.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
They are excited to take their Corgi for walks, play outside, and cuddle indoors. Patti and Keith are in their mid 60's, and look forward to making the Corgi part of their family.
