Who is this dog for?

Applicant 1

Why do you want a Pembroke?
My previous experience with corgis comes from personal experience (I previously rescued another corgi that lives with parents). I enjoy the temperament of the dogs, as well as their sass. They are very loyal dogs who will tell you exactly how they feel. They are polite with guests and neighbors, but will guard you when necessary. They are big dogs on little legs, which makes them a great size too.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Corgis need exercise to maintain a healthy weight. I plan to take the dog on walks around the neighborhood as well as longer nature hikes. I also have a fenced in yard where the corgi can play fetch and run around. Depending on how well the dog gets along with others, there is also the chance of doggie play dates.
