Who is this dog for?

Myself

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I did a lot of research on the breed prior to getting my first PWC, tater. I love the intelligence of the breed. Tater was a quick learner but her smarts and her herding instincts made training difficult at times but it was well worth the time. they make such fun companions.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Hanging out, hiking, running (if the dog was up for it, my current dog loves walks but not running).

Willing to house train?
Yes
Willing to do formal training? Yes

Do you have a veterinarian?

Vet contact info:

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
A firm “NO” immediately, I try to use tone of voice to communicate that a behavior is undesired.

Discipline:
I would put my current Pembroke in a “time out” when she misbehaved. She had to either sit in the corner facing the wall, and stayed there for a minute or 2 or I would gate her in the kitchen for a while.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
They would spend the majority of their time at our house but I like to take my dog everywhere I can with me. I work in a dog friendly environment so occasionally my current dog will come there with me.
