Questions Regarding Motivation for Adopting and Intentions
Who is this dog for?	We are a young couple who recently purchased a home with a yard and would like to rescue a puppy.
Why do you want a Pembroke?	Lindsey and I both grew up with medium sized dogs. We spent a long time researching breeds and feel a corgi is best suited for our lifestyle. We particularly like the breed’s intelligence, playfulness, and their kid friendly nature.
Activities planned with Pembroke:	We recently moved to an area with a substantial amount of green space, parks, trails, etc. Our town is also very walkable. We plan on spending a lot of time outdoors with our corgi, both on walks and at the local dog parks.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:	Firm tone to tell them no and redirect the behavior. I.e if they are chewing on furniture, directing them to a toy to chew on.
Discipline:	First redirection then natural consequences for that specific scenario. I.e. ending a walk early if the dog tries to run off.
Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:	At our house, in our yard, or at doggie day care.
