Questions Regarding Motivation for Adopting and Intentions
Who is this dog for?	I am a single young professional looking for companionship now that I have settled into my own location/place. I am looking to be a new dog mom soon. I prefer a gently used rescue dog that is in need of TLC. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you for your consideration.
Why do you want a Pembroke?	I am interested in adopting a corgi as I have found that many attributes of a Corgi fit my personality and needs. Corgis are not only adorable and full of spunk. Overall, Corgi's are smart, easy to train/eager to please and protect, loyal to their owners, good with families/other dogs, simple enough for an owner to groom, tolerant in a multitude of environments, and conveniently compact enough to live and claim a moderately sized 2 bedroom apartment.
Activities planned with Pembroke:	I plan to spend as much time as possible with my Corgi. I work full time, but plan to spend my time cuddling and exploring with my companion. I enjoy long walks, and trips to the dog park regularly, now I will have even more reason to go.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:	I would NOT use VOILENCE as a means go discipline. In order to correct/attempt to correct a mistake, I would use negative reinforcement or a time out. If needed, to prevent behaviors I would utilize crate training.
Discipline:	I look up to Caesar Millan, being consistent, calm, and assertive. I plan to establish rules early and but in time and effort to training with positive reinforcement. I plan to closely minimize opportunities for accidents, monitor behaviors in order to instruct and correct the behavior/offer alternative behavior versus disciplining after the fact.
Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:	In my apartment-I am a full time worker, so I would leave my companion free to roam around freely when I am home. I would likely leave my pal uncaged even during the day while I am working, unless they are kennel trained/prefer to be in a kennel. I would investigate hiring a dog walking service to stop in to see my pal during the day. When I am not working, I plan to exercise or relax with my furry baby.
