Who is this dog for?

Myself and my husband.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
Love the breed! Lived with the breed! We went through a very destructive period of puppy issues with our Finn and loved him thru it. He matured into a wonderful dog. I miss his barking (I know, really?), his ultra sensitivity to sounds, his cRaZy behavior, his water play/run and fetch … I just miss his face.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Regular jogs and walks, kayaking, ball/Frisbee fetch, long & short car rides, I LOVE to dress them up for parades and events (kids LOVE them too!!).

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
Mistake? Not possible! LOL! Depends on the issue, but discipline with love is always the best approach … same as children. There is usually a good reason something happened and it's best to approach each issue calmly and apply wisdom.

Discipline:
Tell them 'NO' … take them away from the situation and reinforce positive behavior. Like, if they chew something they shouldn't … remove them and give them an approved item for chewing.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
Inside our home.
