Why do you want a Pembroke?
Had a friend with a Corgi and the dog was very intelligent, "loving", and not too big or too small. Dog-sat that Corgi and never had any issue. Have researched the breed.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
First make sure that the dog is ok. Fix whatever needs to be fixed. Move on. If it's a repeat incident, then need to look at reasons for it to continuing occur.

Discipline:
Conversation — only raise voice if it is needed to get the dog out of a dangerous situation….like running in to the street. There's discipline and there's training. If the dog is trained properly there's never an issue. I treat my dog as a little person, respect and caring go a long way.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
With my husband an me. Wherever we go, the dog would go.
