Why do you want a Pembroke?
I've always had a dream to have one! I'm a petite individual and I wanted a petite dog like me. I have lots of energy to move and I'm constantly either rock climbing, camping, or biking. Corgis tend to have to energy and agility to keep up with me. I'm also a person that loves to relax at home and read a book sometimes, so once these guys are tuckered out we can nap together. I've gone to a few corgi meet-up events and have witness a variety of personalities, which I love too! I've conversed with owners on how they have trained their dogs, what are some activities they do with their dog, and how they interact with other animals. All encounters have been positive.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
I would definitely let it run around the dog park, go camping with it, and get it moving outside!

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
I've been training my cat, so when she does something bad I use the same words and noises (NO followed by a loud hand clap). I try to condition this into them to make sure they know that if they do something wrong.

Discipline:
Positive reinforcement if they are doing something good, like treats and toys. I also use their name and say certain phases so they will know they have done something good. If they do something bad, I will tell them no and not give treats.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
Mostly in my apartment, the backyard of my complex (we have 8 units), and outside with me when I go on errands
