Who is this dog for?

My wife and I want to adopt a Corgi puppy.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
My wife used to have a mix border collie and corgi dog back in my home country, Cambodia. She got her dog since puppy until it old and die due to natural course. She feels comfortable and attach to this breed.

For me myself, I am scare of the dog because I was bitten twice when I was a kid, and that's keep me from being comfortable with big dog. This is my first time to have a dog. I would like to reestablish my trust with the dog and that's why I want to adopt the dog less than a year to build the trust again.

My wife and I have been searching for a while. My wife has more experience with dog. I personally doing research on how to take care / train the dog especially puppy.
