Who is this dog for?

Us, to add to our little family.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
We already own the breed and will consider going through the same breeder as our first if we’re not given the opportunity to adopt. We love corgis, their energy, but ESPECIALLY their attitude. We like the way they look (naturally with or without tails). The attitude though, is truly our favorite. So much sass and intelligence.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Tug of war. Tag. Fetch (this one is more difficult to teach to corgis but is still very fun). Cuddling. Agility Course Fun (no competition, just for treats). Dog Park (if appropriate for specific dog).

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
Try to show appropriate or correct behavior and use positive reinforcement with treats and praise.

Discipline:
The word “No”. Showing a bit of discontentment and frowning.
A kennel is not a punishment and I don’t like spanking.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
With us in and around our home. (Indoor outdoor, but mostly in our neighborhood)
Inside dogs, because I don’t believe outside dogs should be a thing. But with walks 4-7 times a day.
