Who is this dog for?

My husband and myself. We just lost our 2 rescued dogs within the last 23 months. Sophie was 14 (chow lab mix) we lost her August 2017 and Jack we lost in September (rescued Jack Russell),he was 15yrs.
We are only interested in rescues and and have been lucky enough to have them around a very long time…

Why do you want a Pembroke?
our first dog was a corgi scottie mix .
she was very smart and loved to herd our girls in the backyard.
we had Licorice for 14 years.

We loved to take our dogs walking. I enjoy their company in the yard while I am gardening. I also took my other dogs to the park

voice my disapproval and take him outside. My dogs knew when they made a mistake so it wasn't necessary to hit or yell . I think that is counter productive as our rescues were fearful when we got them. Time and patience always wins.

Our pool has been removed . We have 3/4 of an acre most of it is the backyard. I have been featured on garden tours. We have mature black walnut trees and the back end of the yard is where my studio is located. Lots of room to explore and run
