Who is this dog for?

Myself, but my partner and I would be caring for it together.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I have been in love with the corgi breed as long as I've know dogs. I grew up on a hobby farm so we were only allowed to have Labs/Springers. I have been on the quest to adopt instead of shop for a corgi. Hoping that maybe someday I can have an adorable little companion such as a corgi. I love their personalities the most, they are spunky, sassy at times, and clever. I also enjoy their look, cute and short. Once I was told by a friend if I was a dog I would be a corgi, and that's without them knowing my love for them. I have done my research, and I currently own a well behaved hearding dog. I believe they would get along nicely.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
I am a frequent dog park visitor. I also live close to downtown Minneapolis so I enjoy walking the dogs. I also have a large fenced in back yard where I can hang out with the dogs while they play.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
Accommodate in the appropriate way. Every dog makes mistake and are learning just like humans.

Discipline:
I usually scolded for bad behavior either by showing the dog what they did wrong and use a stern tone, even sometimes us the crate as a punishment. But I rather have a crate be a safe place for a dog than a time out.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
With me, my boyfriend and other dog in the house or going places with us.
