Who is this dog for?

It is for me, and everyone we see while out and about.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
My girl Shelby was the best companion dog that I have ever had. Adorable, attentive, intuitive, extremely good natured. Smart as a whip. Albiet, kinda stubborn. Oh and did I say "The absolute cutest dogs in the world"!

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Owning a floor covering store requires me to cover the showroom from time to time. It is a real ice breaker for customers that are dog lovers. I also drive Semi trucks part time. Shelby went with me on almost all of my local within Michigan trips. She loved it, and everyone she met always asked for her. An absolute people magnet. Summer time swimming, hiking, loafing, working. Outside a lot. Right now its about 3 degrees.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
Depends on the mistake? If I witness the mistake it could require scooping the dog up and heading outside, trying not to get to excited. That includes me. lol
If I don't witness the mistake more than likely the dog would have no idea why I would be upset. Unless it a repeated issue. Then shame on me, I think.

Discipline:
Gentle coaxing, reassuring voices and regular commands. Consistency is best, works with kids too.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
Absolutely with me when ever possible. Except in extreme hot or cold. I have broken a window in the mall parking lot to save , or at least cool of a dog. I called the police, waited a few minutes, and took action. No ticket or charges. Frankly, I would definitely do it again.
