Who is this dog for?

I just lost my 14 year old Corgi. I have a 7 year old Corgi and was looking to get a friend for her and of course myself.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I love Pembroke. I like their nice combination of spunklness and also how they like to cuddle. They can be a bit hardheaded but I have an excellent dog trainer who coaches me and the dog on how best to behave.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
I always work on a positive reward and ignore negative behavior. If I observe a bad behavior I like to redirect the dog.

Discipline:
At one time my two Corgis were not getting along. I got the help of a local and very skilled dog trainer. We focused on building the dogs confidence and control and that stopped the poor behavior.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
In my house and some time in my fenced in front yard.
