Who is this dog for?

Valerie and David Tracy

Why do you want a Pembroke?
We adopted Nicky, PWC, from Range Regional Animal Shelter in January 2015. She was a severe neglect case and 11 years old. She was very friendly and smart and took to us right away. She was active and loved spending time with us, We have done research on the breed and really love the breed from the experience Nicky gave us. She was truly a sweet dog and such a blessing to us. We were saddened to lose her so soon. We have rescued several animals and given them a wonderful home. Our most recent rescue was a donkey last July from Save the Brays Donkey Rescue in Barnum, MN.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
We live on a hobby farm in northern MN. Corgi would be inside dog with abundant outdoor exercise. I (Val) love to exercise by taking long fast walks,. I would be taking corgi walking with me every day along with many other outdoor activities. Our Corgi Chihuahua named Pepe has energy and loves loves attention. He loves to be with us and goes with us everywhere. The same would happen with the addition to our family of a corgi.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
During the work day (Mon-Fri), until June 28, 2019, would be at home in house from 6am until 3:45pm.. Dave retires June 28th and will be home every day after that or will take dogs with him. If not in the house, our dogs spend their time outside with us or in our shop. They are where we are. Currently, Pepe is in a crate during the day while we are at work.. He sleeps with us every night.
