Who is this dog for?

 Us and our two boys. We have a 7 year old and 1 year old.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 We have never had a corgi, but my brother has a corgi mix. She is sweet, fun, good with their kids, and loves snuggles. We feel a corgi would be good for us as we have a smaller size house (but a large fenced in yard). Our oldest son has high functioning autism (basically Aspergers) and we think a dog would be good for him especially. My family lives two hours away, but when we visit, we would like to take the dog with us. We have researched the breed and watched tv shows that talk about various breeds (“Which Woof’s For Me?” on Fido).

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 Play outside in our yard a lot, go on walks around the neighborhood, go to the local dog park.

 Anywhere they are comfortable! We would have a pet bed, too.

 Daily in our backyard. Outside play time will naturally happen more in warmer months as we live in Michigan, but with a fenced in yard, it won’t be hard to let him/her play outside as long as they want.
