Who is this dog for?

This would be for our family but most importantly for my oldest son who is 20. We lost our black lab about 5 years ago and that was his best friend and my third child. When my son was small he would say "Mom, it's Jordan then you" lol and I was ok with that. He is finally ready for a dog and expressed how he wanted a Corgi for his 21st birthday in October. I have great kids who rather have a dog than go out for their 21st.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
Well my two sons and I have always loved dogs in general and we have a fondness for Corgis. We sometimes say they are our spirit animals since I am 4'11 and my son is 5'2 so we relate being short

Activities planned with Pembroke:
We would do everything with the them. I like to g for a walk/run in the nice weather so i would love to take the dog with me

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
with a stern voice but not where the dog is afraid and tell them that was bad

Discipline:
stern voice, maybe sending the dog to their bed so they know what they did is wrong

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
apartment with us and when we go for walks

People at home during the day?
unfortunately it depends on the day. I have a set schedule where I am out the door at 6 but will walk the dog before I leave and two kids with different college schedules that live at home so I would say 4-6 hours maybe depending on the day.

Where would dog eat?
there is a space by the back door near the couch, it's a little bit of a private area so they can be alone

Where would dog sleep:
Well I prefer a dog bed but my oldest is saying his bed lol either one is fine
