Who is this dog for?

 Myself and my husband. We just bought a new home with a lot and a half with a fenced in yard and we are looking to complete our family with a corgi.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I love the energy and personality of corgis. My best friend has one and I love their loyalty, their love of being around you all the time, their energy especially when outside. I love how smart they are and capable of training. I love how friendly and outgoing they are, as I want a dog I can bring with me everywhere I go and meet new people and places.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 I would spend a lot of time outside with the dog, playing fetch as I do with my current dog and long walks. I work from home most days, so I want a companion I can spend time with and play with. I also mentioned that I would like to bring the corgi with me where I go, such as to the park or out to dinner and so on.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this: 		I do not believe that punishment or yelling works with dogs, so I will be focusing on positive reinforcement using a clicker and treats to encourage good behavior rather than reprimand negative behaviors. So essentially I would not give the dog a treat for mistakes.

 I use behavioral reinforcement using a clicker I keep on a keychain and small treats or pieces of food to reinforcement good behavior over bad behavior.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
 My Pembroke would spend most of the time with me at home or out on the fenced in yard. I am also hoping to take them with me wherever I go.

 I would set up a separate feeding station for the corgi away from my current dog so that if the corgi ya different eating habits it can eat in peace. I would likely do this in the kitchen, but be absolutely willing to relocate the food station if needed.

Where would dog sleep:
 My corgi would sleep on a dog bed in the living room with my other dog.

Play & exercise:
 We have a big fenced in yard for the corgi to play in, and a older dog who is still quite active to play with as well. I also currently take my dog on walks everyday that the corgi would also come on.

 Both on leash and restrained to the yard
