Who is this dog for?

 The corgi would be for us. We are a couple, and we have been together for three years. We are moving into a dog friendly apartment in August and having been looking to rescue a corgi.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I like that corgis tend to be intelligent, trainable, energetic, and the perfect size. There are many corgi meetup groups in Chicago, so our corgi would have a lot of friends. My partner, Emily, used to work at a vet clinic. She is very knowledgeable about dogs (she can guess the age of any dog just by looking at it), and is well conntected with many vets.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 I am very active. My corgi and I could jog, go to the dog park, go to the dog beach, and attend corgi meetup groups.
