Who is this dog for?

This corgi would be for the two of us.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
We want to adopt a PWC because we are both familiar with and have been primary caretakers for large dogs but want to adopt a smaller dog in order to more easily be able to take them places. We have heard that corgis are much like larger dogs, just shorter. We love our friend's corgis and would like one of our own. We have done research and are prepared to do training and provide mental stimulation for our dog and will look into agility training.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
We will work on training to keep our dog mentally stimulated, and take it along with us for activities like hiking and camping, as well as regular walks around the neighborhood and visits to local dog parks.
