Why do you want a Pembroke?
 Our daughter adopted a corgi puppy a couple years ago and we fell in love. She has now moved to the west coast and took the dog. Our Yorki got along well with the dog and enjoyed interacting with him. We used to have a golden retriever and putting her down was hard, especially on the yorki. We are looking to add a second dog and think this would be a good fit as we have done our research on the corgi breed. Due to the age of our current dog though, we are not looking for a puppy.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 We have a large fenced in yard and live on a bike path adjacent to a park district. We would walk the dog often and love exploring the forest preserves and trails in our town.

 Primarily voice commands if we are with the dog. You can’t correct a dog if you are not present when the misbehavior occurs.

 Roaming our home or in the yard with the Yorkie. We do not cage, but would if needed.
