Who is this dog for?

Michael

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I grew up with one of thee most well known lobbyist in central Illinois if not all of Illinois and they always had welshes. The Kjellander's. They had Bush 2 at their house before he was president and that didn't mean much to me. However, I was their dog sitter when they had to enjoy company. That and we played competitive as well as req. soccer together and I was always the one that watched their 5 dogs. Springer Spaniels, English something or others and welshes.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
It just depends on their enthusiasm. I would walk them in my neighborhood and more than likely teach them a quite a few commands. But, other than that unless I was hunting wabbits. I wouldn't be doing much more than that. Oh, maybe Netflix and chilling. LOL.

Aware that Pembrokes are busy, noisy dogs?
Yes

Money for basic care?

Yes

Money for unforeseen medical expenses?
Yes

Willing to house train?
Yes
Willing to do formal training? Yes

Do you have a veterinarian?

Yes

Vet contact info:
{If yes, please provide contact information including the vet’s name, clinic name, street address, city, state, zip, and phone. Also include the website if there is one.:52}

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
With corrective criticism which means I would work with said animal and show them that what has taken place isn't an error. It's just something that needs to be worked on and go from there. Dogs are a work in progress and so much fun.

Discipline:
It depends. I may use the verbal method or the cage method. Usually I will go with verbal as if said dog is a child and go from there. Enthusiasm and treats go a long way with trying to correct a dogs behavior.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
With me. If, I leave the house chances are said dog would be able to come with me. Socialization is key in training your dog. If, however, I am not able to respond to such circumstances I would leave the dog inside to its own devices. I know I might seem crazy. But, I DO NOT CRATE MY DOG! Never have. Never will. That doesn't mean I don't know what I am doing. As a matter of fact I believe I am capable of training my pooch better not doing so.

House dog or outside dog?

House dog

People at home during the day?
Of course. It's almost impossible as well as miserable for said dog to be tied down. Of which I do not condone because it leads to dysfunctional behaviors.

Where would dog eat?
Well, in the dish he/she has been prescribed. Generally, where an animal would eat.

Where would dog sleep:
LOL, My girlfriend just said, "In your bed". Which is….Of course the place it would sleep. Anytime I am at my mother's house her "child" sleeps with me.

Play & exercise:
It just depends on said dog. I often took my husky/malamute to the dog park. But, I also took my step sisters dog as well as my own to be treated.

How will you exercise your dog?
Both on leash and restrained to the yard
