Who is this dog for?

My name is Katherine Hull and I am a student at Saint Mary's College. This corgi would be for my brother Joseph, my sister Caroline, and me. We love animals and would love to take on a corgi.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I love the breed! I have always loved corgis, their personalities, and their love for people. I have had neighbors who have had corgis and they are always the kindest well-trained dogs. I have done research on the breed, and we are aware of their genetic dispositions to things like disc slips.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
We would go on walks, play in the backyard, and play with the dogs next door! We want to socialize the corgi as much as possible. We're looking for reasons to get out to the house!

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
I would handle it with patience and care. The more love and support you give your corgi, the better trained it will be.

Discipline:
We would use positive reenforcement with treats and praise. We will be clear and consistent with the dog, and make sure that there is a level of understanding between us.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
In the house, the yard, and the near by lake. We really want to take the dog on walks around Silver Lake in NSP, and play around the lake!
