Why do you want a Pembroke?
 We love Corgi's spunky personalities. My friend has one and he is the best. I (Jessica) grew up with herding dogs (a collie and an Australian Shepherd) and they have made excellent family dogs. We've done our research and Corgis are smart and interesting. They are a good size for our house but also have energy to take on brisk walks, which we are hoping to do.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 Lots of walks and playing in the yard! And then ending the day by snuggling on teh couch.

 Ivan works from home but is sometimes gone for a few hours at a time. If the dog would be home alone for too long, we plan on having a doggie day care lined up to use if need be.

 We have a yard and live right next to a park. Jessica will do morning and evening walks and Ivan will do mid-day walks or runs.
