Who is this dog for?

My mother and I/family

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I want to adopt a Corgi because they are the right balance of energetic and cuddly. I love how smart they are and how they need stimulation through playing/exercise. I am a very active person and would love a companion to go on runs, swim, and play fetch with. I have done a lot of research on the breed and it seems we would be a perfect match!

Activities planned with Pembroke:
I would take my corgi on runs, swimming, go to the park, and too play fetch.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
If my Pembroke made a mistake, for example, biting, chewing on furniture, I would calmly guide it to another object and show him/her it's not okay. Or I could use a noise method, for instance, if it bit me I could reciprocate a yelp showing the dog that it hurts.

Discipline:
I use methods such as redirecting, silent treatment, exercise, or a time out room.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
Besides daily exercise, my Corgi would spend most of its time inside our home.
