Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I have always had herding dogs and love the way they think. They are always interested in the world around them and very active. Our dogs are part of our family and go where we go and do what we do. We have had Belgians and Shelties.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 Walk, play, train, read, watch TV, travel, sleep, hang out, and therapy work if the dog has the temperament for it. If not, that's fine. Not everyone is cut out for that.

 With me. I work from home and love to walk twice a day every day, and we can easily go outside for play time and exercise as often as needed.

 Where ever s/he is most comfortable. On the bed with me, in a dog bed next to mine, in a create, on the couch, lot of options for sleeping.

Play & exercise:
 We will have two scheduled walks a day, first thing in the morning and after dinner. We can go outside to play and exercise every hour with a young dog or as often as needed for an older dog. We will also go to obedience classes and work on a therapy title if the dog would enjoy that.

 No pool. We have 3/4 acre with a 1250 sq ft ranch house. Fully fenced back yard. also a 3-season room on the back of the house that we spend a lot of time in.

 Yes. Our son is 21 and lives in North Dakota so he is not a concern. We rarely have children over and if we do, we will ensure the child is trained or contained. The dog lives here, the guest does not. And as the dog owner I am solely responsible for any and all of the dog's behavior.
