Why do you want a Pembroke?
We had a Corgi for over 12 years who recently died of old age, She was a cardigan rescue. We love the breed. I have had Great Pyrenees for most of my life, my last one died several years ago and have been active with Pyr Rescue, GPRGC. I also love the corgi which they have the personality of a large dog but with the benefit of having short legs and can't reach the counter.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
We have a large fenced in back yard. Mainly walks and if the dog would enjoy swimming/wading , we have a lake 2 blocks away

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
it would depend upon the mistake, but basically I would make the correction if it was done as I saw it. If the dog made the mistake and no one saw it, no correction could generally be made as the dog would not understand .

Discipline:
praise for good behavior I used to have great Pyrenees dogs that were rescues so I am used to dealing with a very large dogs that sometimes wanted to do what they wanted
I do not hit or mistreat my pets in any way.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
