Who is this dog for?

Myself

Why do you want a Pembroke?
They are lovable loyal companions. I love the energy level and affection from pembrokes. I wanted the heart of a large dog in a smaller body.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Running/ walks, swimming, hiking, dog parks, open fields, and running along with a bike. I would attach the corgi through a harness to an arm that branches off the side of my bike seat, then have another leash to direct the corgi which way I'm going. with careful training, this will be a great running exercise.

Aware that Pembrokes are busy, noisy dogs?
Yes

Money for basic care?

Yes

Money for unforeseen medical expenses?
Yes

Willing to house train?

Yes

Vet contact info:
{If yes, please provide contact information including the vet’s name, clinic name, street address, city, state, zip, and phone. Also include the website if there is one.:52}

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
I would correct by letting them know but not yelling, saying words like "no" or when it's a slight mistake "oops". using positive reinforcement when good and giving treats. I am an alpha but gentle, anger does not work in any relationship, especially with dogs. Build trust and a bond.

Discipline:
Telling no, putting in a crate if necessary for a limited amount of time as a "time out".

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
They will have open access to the entire, large apartment. The apartment will be ready for them and will be puppy proof if needed.
