Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I have done lots of research on Corgis and currently have a Corgi mix. The corgi’s size is ideal for our living situation. We are looking for a more active dog who fits in with our lifestyle and speed. Corgis are usually good with children, so this would be ideal as we have younger nieces who adore dogs. We know that Corgis can be mischievous, but love dogs that have an active mind and personality (we have lots of puzzle games and enjoy playing very much!). We are dedicated to training on an ongoing basis, so the corgi is ideal.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 Walks, exploring forest preserves / trails, training, puzzle games, playing with toys, providing affection and care, snuggling, playing with our other dog.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this: 		First, we stay calm and make sure not to scare the dog. We use touch commands to calm and center the dog. We will correct the act if the dog is in the middle of the misbehavior. We will continue to provide ongoing training to address the mistake, to ensure it does not become a habit.
