Why do you want a Pembroke? |
They are cute, devoted, playful, good company, will let you know if someone is around. Ive never owned a corgi. My friend had a corgi and whenever I visited which was frequently, that corge was very devoted to my friend. I would bring Mitzie, my sheltie and we would play in the yard with balls and hoops for the dogs and they ran all over and played. We took them on walks together, the corgi got along well with Mitzie and liked me alot too. She was very personable.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this: |
Diversion, remove from the situation, say "no" firmly, talk to the corgi
Discipline: |
You know I think diverting the dog from that situation is the best. Lots of times they just need attention so I put their head in my hands, pet them and talk to them. Take them to another area of the house/yard. A differant view is good too. |

Hula the cat thinks she should be the first one through any door. She will hiss and swat at ShyAnne if she goes first, it is brief and ShyAnne basically ignores these actions.
