 We currently have two rescue Great Danes, 7 & 8. Hanz has been with us since he was 7 months; Dega is a wonderful old lady that has been with us 18 month. We lost her predecessor in July of 2019 after only 5 years. Star too was a great older lady when she came to us. We have had a Corgi in the distant past, Ethan. Great Danes have been the constant for us and we hope always to have one , but we can also rescue a Corgi.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 Corgi's are amazing. They are like a big dog in a smaller dog body. They love to run and play, AND they are fast.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 Walk, play, cuddle. I work from home so, our kids are not alone too often.

 I work from home, and the kids spend most of the day with me.

Where would dog eat?
 In the dining room with the danes and us.

Where would dog sleep:
 Most anywhere he/she wants. One of the danes sleeps in our bed, one sleeps on a big dog bed at the foot of our bed. They change up who sleeps where. We would anticipate the corgi would sleep in our room on his/her bed……..but maybe not.

Play & exercise:
 Initially, the corgi will be on a leash. Hopefully, he/she will mature to a point that he can run and play off leash. Also, our girl dane loves to run and play even at her advanced age, she will will love having someone to play with. Our boy is more of a couch potatoe.
