Who is this dog for?

My Fiancé and I but I (Blake) will be the primary caretaker.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
My Fiancé and I have always loved corgi’s. They are loyal, playful, loving, and all around very solid dogs. We haven’t done a ton of research with Pembroke Welshs specifically, but you are one of the only corgi rescues that we could find. We of course wanted to adopt and not shop in order to give a wonderful home to a loving boy or girl who needs one.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
We will go on walks everyday. We have another dog that we hope will be an excellent play buddy with in our backyard. We have an agility course and plenty of frisbees and balls. I plan to spend all of my free time with them whether active or passive.

Yes

Money for basic care?

Yes

Money for unforeseen medical expenses?
Yes

Willing to house train?

Do you have a veterinarian?

No

Vet contact info:
{If yes, please provide contact information including the vet’s name, clinic name, street address, city, state, zip, and phone. Also include the website if there is one.:52}

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
I will first scold them to let them know it’s not okay, if they show humility and try to apologize, they will be rewarded with a pet but no treats for the night. I will then clean up the mess and have them sit in ‘timeout’ in the meantime.

Discipline:
I have stated it mostly in the previous question.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
I would have a crate right next to my bed, but due to the nature of our jobs, the corgi would only be alone/ in there for about two to three hours. Otherwise, he/she would have free reign of the house once they have been acclamated.
