 My son, Marcus. He turns 21 in March. He loves dogs and animals in general. We have a lovely blue heeled/besinji rescue who we all adore. She is a very lively six year old who gets plenty of exercise and love. Marcus has always wanted a Corgi. Unsure where the Corgi obsession came from, but I can see way.  It is for myself. My dream dog has always been a corgi, and now that I’m financially stable and have my own place I’d love to adopt one.

 My husband and I, after losing our beloved 13yo corgi this past May.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 As mentioned, we had a corgi from a puppy to 13, she was our first dog and just incredible. We want another corgi specifically because they are intelligent, playful, a mid level energy level, adaptable, , smaller size but not teeny tiny. Corgis feel like the perfect dog for us.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 Training excersizes and puzzles to excersize their mind, long walks and hikes in nicer weather, tromps through the snow, lots of toy time in the home, socializing w other pet owners. We are committed to assuring our new pup is happy and healthy in both body and mind.

 In our home. My husband works from home most days so the dog would not be left alone aside from a few hours here and there. We like to stay active so lots of playtime outside the home too.

 Positive reinforcement with clear commands. Training from day one for both the dog and us! It’s a bond we’ll share and work on together.
Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time: In our home. My husband works from home most days so the dog would not be left alone aside from a few hours here and there. We like to stay active so lots of playtime outside the home too.

 Multiple times a day- good long walks multiple times a day, park time at the park 2 blocks away, beach trips only 4 blocks away, we also love hiking when the weather is nice. Inside the home we like to offer puzzle/interactive toys, training time, and general fun time that’s less impact play 🙂

 I want to adopt a pembroke Welsh corgi because I feel the breed would match my lifestyle. I love the look of the breed.i think they are very pretty ,adorable and charming. I love their eager to please and general good temperment. I have done research on the breed,and they have many of the characteristics I need in a dog,namely an easygoing demeanor and trainability

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I have done a lot of research on this breed and I love pembroke corgis from the look all the way to their personality. I think they are the dog version of me. The breed is the perfect size for me, they are loving, loyal and I hear that they are sassy and motivated by food. My only experience with them is seeing them at the state park that I walk at.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 Walk at the park, walk in the neighborhood, go to the local dog park, watch tv, cuddle, and just play and hangout.
