 My sister had a Pembroke welsh corgi and my daughter absolutely loved that dog. When we were over there sometimes they would take the corgi on a walk and my daughter Emily would love to go as well. sometimes she got to hold the leash.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this: 		Very calmly. I have read that you do it calmly so that the corgi does not think that you are mad at it. If the corgi starts to go to the bathroom in the house. I have read that you pick it up and take it outside to go to the bathroom so it can learn to be potty trained.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I would like to adopt a corgi because I love how energetic and sociable they are around others. I have heard they are great cuddle buddies and I have yet to experience that with my family member’s corgi. They are exuberant and exciting to be around and that’s exactly my personality when i’m around with friends and family. What I love about the breed is their agility, how loyal they can be and their whole personality. My experience with my family member’s corgi is that I used to dog sit for them. I would always run around at the backyard with them, playing tug of war with their chew toys, always getting them on their paws and be excited. I’ve done my research on corgis and it is a lot to handle but I believe I am fit for a breed like this.

 We love the breed. We've had 4 Corgis in all. Reggie who lived to 15 yrs. Tucker who we rescued from your group and who was also a medical rescue. He had to be put down though due to the extent of what his seizures became and being on the top of the medicine without relief. Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I mainly love the cute little things due to, well, their cuteness. I mainly want a smaller breed of dog, but a pwc is my main preference. I have babysat for a couple of my friends before in watching their corgis. The ones I have watched are very active. They just seem like the right kind of dog for me. Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I mainly love the cute little things due to, well, their cuteness. I mainly want a smaller breed of dog, but a pwc is my main preference. I have babysat for a couple of my friends before in watching their corgis. The ones I have watched are very active. They just seem like the right kind of dog for me. I’ve been thinking about getting one for the past year now. I’ve done my research. That research led me here.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 Definitely walking and playing. I know that these dogs are smart and can get bored with normal toys. (I would too. I prefer challenges.) I will find toys that require mental stimulation.
