 Yes, mosts days I am home. I have classes I attend and some commitments right now I work out in my studio or at my computer. I work in a dental Office 2-4 days per month for a 7-8 hour shift.

Where would dog eat?
 I tend to be pretty conscious of what I eat myself, so I treat my pets the same way. I usually get dog food from the health food store, so it is a higher grade food than the grocery store brands.

Where would dog sleep:
 In my bedroom or living room. My past dogs have always had their own beds, I do not allow my dogs to sleep in my bed. I would put a bed in my living room, my bed room and most likely in my studio too for the dog.

Play & exercise:
 I usually walk my dogs in the morning for 20-30 minutes and the same in the evening. Or I will take them on field trip to local parks and nature walks and walk longer 45-60 minutes or longer. in the past I have had a dog door so they could come and go inside and out as they pleased. I do not have that set up in this current house and I am not sure I would install a dog door here at my current location. I am around enough that it should not be an issue.

 Back yard is fenced on 3 sides with cyclone fence and 4th side is on a river. I have a free standing barn in the back yard that is my art studio, a couple trees, lots of grass and it is on 2 levels with stairs down to the lower level in one part and a driveway that slopes down to the barn in the other part. I consider it to be a big yard. 2 dog on the west side that are out only sometimes, no dogs on the east side.

 Corey and I have a very close friend, Fay Cheng, who adopted a corgi from Lake Shore Corgis about a decade ago. We love her corgi like our own pet. We have dog sat for her many times and through that experience fell in love with corgis.

 We would do walks, fetch, any activity that motivates our corgi to be active and keep up with training. With all activities we would make sure to take precaution of the back and eye problems corgis often have as they get older.

 Yes. Corey works a retails schedule and I (Kellie) work a 9 – 5 working from home once a week. We both have a lot of flexibility and can be home as much as needed to train our puppy especially at first.

 Our corgi would eat in our home out of a bowl at the proper height to make sure it is okay on the dogs back.

 I think this would depend on the personality of our corgi. We would be comfortable having the dog in our bed, in our bedroom, if the dog prefers a crate with the door open that would be fine too. I think it would really depend on what the individual dog is comfortable with.

 We would do long walks. If needed we would invest in doggy day care. We love to play fetch and have a car to go to dog beaches in chicago.

 We rescued a pem from you 20 or so years ago. She was such a great dog. Then we rescued a cardi he lived for 17 years. We love our corgis! They are so fun,cute and demanding. Why do you want a Pembroke?
 Me and my husband have been researching on the breed for over a year. We want to rescue/adopt to support these rescue organizations instead of buying from breeders who we don't trust. What we love about Welsh Corgis is how they love to cuddle in bed yet are very outgoing. The extent of our experiences with the breed is from playing with our friends' dogs.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this: 		I would not punish the Pembroke by putting the dog in a cage or hitting/yelling (especially if the mistake is found after-the-fact). Instead I would be patient and make sure I supervise him/her to watch for signs that indicates he/she needs to go potty, more activity, or stimulating toys.

 In the case of a dog nibbling at me, I would use a high pitched yelp to indicate that biting hurts others. I like to use positive reinforcement, so when the dog is exhibiting good behavioral I will give him/her a treat.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I previously owned a Pembroke Welsh Corgi that come from Pati Wiedel and Lakeshore Corgi Rescue. His name was Hanson and he come to us at age 3 living until age 14, he passed away in 2017. He was by my side at all times and loved so much by the entire family. I certainly know the breed well now and cherish everything about them. I feel I am ready again to add a dog to our family and like to adopt one needing a home.

 Pretty much everything! We love hiking, gardening, being outdoors so our Corgi would go where we go. We have a large yard so plenty of exercise space. We don't leave our pets outside alone and instead take regular walks. This works out well because my husband works from home and I frequently work from home as well.

 3/4 acre yard, we can have an invisible fence but not a physical one. We are near a wooded area, with lots of trees in our own yard. There are neighbors behind and across the street with dogs. Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I’ve been really particular in my search for a dog due to not ever having one. I’ve met a few people with corgis, and they just seem so happy and playful.
