 Only what I have read. I have not had a Corgi before.I grew up with family dogs and have had several dogs over the years myself. Not in awhile though.

 No pool. I live in upper condo that faces an open field. As I stated before there is a bike trail very close by. Yard is not fenced, but I do not intend to let the dog out on it's own. Why do you want a Pembroke?
 LOVE The Jack Russell!!! But have started loving the Corgi. Would be a neat dog to add to my household. Love their temperament, (not as in your face as a Jack) And…I love the smile!!!!

 We live on 1 1/2 acres. The Hunt Terrier runs loose on the property. The two sisters still have not learned the yard boundaries. So they are on long 50 ft + cables. Dogs are also going on car rides, taking walks to the park and hitting the trails.

summer we have a place with more acres on a lake – they have free
range of that plus of course most love to swim /play ball

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I am a big dog lover! I have rescued two dogs in the past when I lived at home with my parents. Neither of them were specified as Corgi’s; however, we feel that our current dog may have some Corgi in him. I had a good friend who owned two Corgis growing up so I was always around the two of them and fell in love with the breed. I remember how their playful yet cuddly and sweet personalities. I also recently had a neighbor adopt a Corgi puppy this past summer. I would wait outside on my porch for when they went on walks so I could run over to say hi to the puppy. It always made my day as he was so playful and friendly with me. Seeing that puppy pretty much sold me on wanting a Corgi puppy of my own. When deciding what breed of dog I wanted to rescue I did a lot of research on which dogs had the nicest personalities (Corgis showed up high on almost every list ranking friendliness of dogs).

 I am looking for a dog I can play with outside at the park, take on frequent walks, and at the end of the day spend lots of time cuddling with. There are a lot of dog parks near me and I would love to be able to go there with my dog and spend hours having them play fetch and run around.

 We love Corgi because the cuteness and the size. We have been seeing some Corgi around our neighborhood and we been watching them running around for years so if we are gonna to have a dog and it will be Corgi. Who is this dog for?

 He/ she will be for the whole family, we are 2 adults and with a little girl who is 8 years old now.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 We love Corgi because the cuteness and the size. We have been seeing some Corgi around our neighborhood and we been watching them running around for years so if we are gonna to have a dog and it will be Corgi. To be honest we don’t own any dogs so we do not have any experience as a owner , but so far for what we ‘ve seeing and reaching , we do like Corgi the best.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 We will try our best to do whatever are considered good activities to the Corgi like walking , jogging , teaching tricks, training , playing , watching TV （ once in a while being couch potato）, walking along the lakefront etc⋯

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this: 		I asked my daughter this question and here is her answer ： “ I would just clean up and try to train the Pembroke.” We are happy for her answer and yes everyone makes mistake so it is okay to do so. We will try to find out what the issue is and go from there.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I had two previous full breed corgis: first one was a female; she passed away about 8 years ago from the poisoned dog food episode; Precious was only 7 years old when she passed because her kidneys shut down. It was heartbreaking.

My second full breed corgi (Ginger) had developed a very large tumor on her underside and after testing discovered she had a malignant tumor! I was devastated when she had to be put down.

I loved both my corgis so much. They are absolutely adorable, lovable, dedicated and provides much entertainment at times! Very smart dogs! Now I'm an empty nester and need a companion again!


Activities planned with Pembroke:
 I would take the dog for long walks at my mother's farm or go to the dog park locally, go for rides in my car, pretty much it would go with me everywhere. I would like to play with it, hoping all the saved dog toys are good enough!
