Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I raised them for almost 20 years. Loved them but when I got divorced and our last Corgi died(at 24) I went to Boxers

 just ow key loving home. That is one reason I want the older dogs. I have a large fenced in yard that has a doggie door so all the dogs can go out whenever they like. Lots of toys large bones and comfy beds and a doggie single bed next to mine. Laid back living

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this: 		Just as with our children, accidents do happen. I do believe it is important to be firm in your response with out being mean. Everyone makes mistakes, even balls of fur. There would have to be an understanding between each individual dog and owner.

 We have used some crate methods with previous dogs but it was more specific to his breed and previous trainings. I would be sure to train with a new dog to find what works best for this particular animal and our family.

 We would like to add a smaller dog to our family and think Corgis are just so adorable. We have plenty of room inside and outside (including a big fenced yard) for our dogs to run around and play. We’ve never owned a corgi before but think our family is a good fit for their temperament.

 We adore the corgi breed. They are so intelligent and wily. Corgis are very smart and trainable but are also mischievous which is fun. We feel that a corgi's personality would work well within our family dynamic with our kids and our other dogs. We have read a lot of books about Corgis and watched a lot of you tube videos with the kids.

 In the kitchen or could be fed in a different location if a new dog was food aggressive. We currently have one food bowl in our mudroom and one in our kitchen for our two dogs.

 If the corgi follows our other two dogs, somewhere in the master bedroom. We have two dog beds and a large chair that the dogs sleep in. Sometimes one of our dogs sleeps in the guest bed or in one of the kid's rooms. If needed for comfort, a new dog could be crated overnight but the expectation would be that a new dog would be sleeping somewhere between the master and the kid's bedrooms.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 We currently have a 7 year old male pembroke corgi and he is amazing. He is very active, playful and affectionate. We couldn’t possibly love him anymore and would like to add another corgi to our family. The activity level, and affection is perfect for us, and also the size of the breed.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 Our current corgi’s favorite thing to do is play fetch, go for walks, and he loves howling along while Erik sings along to songs. All of these activities we would do with another corgi and whatever games and toys would be our additional corgis favorite we would more than love to do.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I would consider myself a corgi enthusiast. I fell in love with their looks and have stayed for their personalities. My experience has been very limited to interacting with our neighborhood corgis. My love of corgis has rubbed off on the whole family, including our children. When one of the neighborhood corgis walk by, they run out the front door to greet him. I have been doing research on the breed. I am intrigued by their intelligence and ability to do a job, whether it be herding or agility. I also like that they thrive on companionship, as we are eager to have an affectionate, active new family member. We also want a new family member that will be child-friendly. This year has been difficult for everyone and since we can’t provide a lot of normal activities for our kids, we were hoping to surprise them with a Christmas Corgi.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 We love to go on walks both around our neighborhood and at parks. We just discovered we live near a dog park as well. In the summer, we spend a lot of time at a lake and would love to include a corgi there. Our kids like being involved, so I anticipate they’ll enjoy teaching him or her new tricks.
