Why do you want a Pembroke?
 Corgis are the perfect size dog for me. Larger dogs make me uncomfortable. I love that these are herding dogs, despite their stature (cattle are not easy animals to maneuver). I was honestly unsure about them, having only seen them in TV shows or online, but I met a Corgi just the other day and he sold me to them. They're very friendly and want to say hello to everyone, but are perfectly fine with settling down for a nap.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
 I have a bad knee and am limited to the exercise I can do. Walking a Corgi would be very beneficial. I wouldn't be worried about the tugging, as I am with a large dog, and I wouldn't worry about tripping on them if they stop, like with my father's Pomeranian.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this: 		Very gently. Dogs make mistakes just as people do. I certainly wouldn't yell at it, if that's what you mean.

Discipline:
 Discipline in the house is mellow. If it is a mistake, like peeing on the floor, you show them what they did, acknowledge it, and use positive reinforcement (like treats) when applicable.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
 Indoors if the weather is bad (like in the winter). But the yard is fenced in and the Corgi can spend a lot of time outside in the spring, summer, and autumn.

Discipline:

 Us and our two boys. We have a 7 year old and 1 year old.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 We have never had a corgi, but my brother has a corgi mix. She is sweet, fun, good with their kids, and loves snuggles. We feel a corgi would be good for us as we have a smaller size house (but a large fenced in yard). Our oldest son has high functioning autism (basically Aspergers) and we think a dog would be good for him especially. My family lives two hours away, but when we visit, we would like to take the dog with us. We have researched the breed and watched tv shows that talk about various breeds (“Which Woof’s For Me?” on Fido).

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 I’ve been researching the corgi for numerous years and understand their possible complications, but I love that they turn into their very own version of a nurse when they sense something is off about their owners. I think they’re very reliable and caring dogs and this is exactly what I’m looking for in a dog.

 I’d take him/her to the dog park, walk around campus, and take him/her to the pet store because I love engaging with toys and other things that keep the dogs active as I’m also very energetic!

 Us, we love Corgis and have had 3 Full blood Corgis and have a Corgi Golden Retriever mix. We lost our last Corgi almost a year ago and I miss my buddy.

Why do you want a Pembroke?
 While we have never had a Corgi, a good friend of ours did for years and we would occasionally take care of it for a few days. In addition to be extremely cute, it is the size dog that we really like and the temperament that we like. The corgi seems like it would be a dog that would be very compatible with the beagle that we have.

 Our dogs get to run around in our fenced yard every day. We also go on walks every day. Other than that most of the activities are just playing inside the house with many toys and us and the other dog.
