Why do you want a Pembroke?	My fiencee and I love the welsh corgi! Corgi means dwarf dog in welsh and im a little person! We really want this dog because of the fact that we want a kid but can't! So we want to spoil a dog that will be ours and want plenty of love! I had a corgi as a child and i loved it cause it was a normal dog but short like me 🙂 honestly we have looked this type of dog up so much just cause we want one so badly!

Who is this dog for?	We're looking to add to our family. Right now I live in a house with my Wife and have 3 acres of land that our dogs play in. We have an older border collie (he's almost 13) and a 11 month old chihuahua pup and they are both very friendly.
Why do you want a Pembroke?	They are beautiful, fun dogs. I have some friends that own one and I actually have wanted one since I was about 15. I'd prefer to adopt a dog then purchase one from a potential puppy mill.
Activities planned with Pembroke:	I like to go for walks with my pups. I go play in the yard with them as well. Harold loves to play frisbee and chase around tennis balls where Tanner likes to explore so I have to keep a close eye on him. He's a trouble maker if I let him. I've taken both to dog obedience classes that teach through positive reinforcement.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:	It depends on the mistake. I believe it's important to let them know right away if they make a mistake. I usually usually will scold them if I catch them in the act and may use lime juice if needed. Something like them having an accident just takes work and repetition. Plus rewarding them when they do well and positive reinforcement makes a huge difference. Dogs don't mean to do things wrong, it's usually because they don't understand and need to be worked with.

When the weather is nice we go to the cabin and bring our mobile invisible fence that doesn't require to bury a wire. It works well and you can adjust the size both of our dogs do well with it since they know the beeping means they're near the edge of the area they can go.

Why do you want a Pembroke?	We absolutely love corgi's. We had my dear girl, Lottie, for 2 years before a tragic accident delivered a ticket to the rainbow bridge. Why do you want a Pembroke?	Emily has always wanted a pembroke welsh corgi, and with our house we are able to look into adopting a dog soon. She especially likes the corgi's "Cute little booty" as a direct quote. Personally I enjoy their playful and gentle nature, as well as typical geniality with people and other pets. I personally do not have experience with purebred pembroke's, but have spent time with many "partial" corgi mixes which I've thoroughly enjoyed. As is my nature, I have done a /lot/ of research on corgi's, and intend to continue to do research on raising them and providing a good environment for them leading up to when we can adopt.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:	Depends on the mistake. If it's a grievous issue (eating cables/cords) I would gently correct it and attempt to train it to not do that. Something minor is a simple "no" and perhaps physically removing the corgi from the situation. (put the corgi in their crate while I clean up a mess I made while cooking, for example)

Who is this dog for?	My youngest daughter in particular, but for the whole family as well.
Why do you want a Pembroke?	I touched on this in the previous section. This puppy would be for my daughter who was recently diagnosed with anxiety and depression. School hasn't been kind to her in the past. Also get hamster recently passed. She has loved the PC breed for years and we have researched it and taken all kinds of dog breed tests to confirm what she already knew, this is her dog breed. Not far from our home, in Evanston Il there is a population of PC's we see being walked often. That's where most of our interaction is primarily from.
Activities planned with Pembroke:	My daughter isn't the most athletic, by choice. However she loves going on walks, drawing, taking pictures in nature, and watching YouTube. Her Corgi would be her best friend, literally. Her 4 legged shadow. I think she'd tap into her athletic side more intentionally with the aid of her Corgi. On top of that, she's drown it in affection.

As family dogs growing up we have had border collies, jack russels, blue heelers and aussies. I love the herding breeds and we had some good family friends who had corgis.
