Why do you want a Pembroke? |
We have had 2 Pembroke corgis in the past. One was a stray or abandoned. She was a wonderful dog. We loved her so much, we got another Corgi. He was probably a puppy mill corgi. He was great with adults, but he fought with our original corgi and we were afraid our child may end up getting hurt. We ended up contacting a rescue. He was rehomed and was a loved member of their family. | ||||||

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this: |
I would look at crate training for when dog was not able to be supervised until we were certain that he/she would not get into things. If he/she did get into things I would tell them no and remove them from the object/area. I would use food rewards as a way of training the dog to understand what the expectations are. |
