Why do you want a Pembroke?
I've had nothing but great experiences with Corgis. I've always thought they were exceptionally cute, and I've never met a Corgi I didn't like! I am dating a girl whose family has a Corgi, so I've spent considerable time with the breed. I admittedly could do more research — any understanding I have of the breed is the result of my own experiences rather than research.

I would do my best to demonstrate that the dog made a mistake, but I wouldn't want to intimidate or scare the dog in any way — I believe a stern approach, followed perhaps by affection, may effectively curb naughty behaviors.
