Who is this dog for?

Jonalyn (27) and my mother (Teresita, 59). Addition to our family. 🙂

Why do you want a Pembroke?
Aside from being just darn cute, I love that they love attention and how loyal they are. I have met people with corgis and have played with them. I'v also done lots of reading on them. I understand they are active and need obedience training, and have a desire to please their owners and with the appropriate training, they are good with older children and well-mannered at home. I want a dog who is active but manageable.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Fetch, walks to the park, keeping it fit and active. but also cuddling on the couch watching tv doesn't sound too bad. 🙂

I would say "no!", maybe put them in time out for 10 or so minutes (time out would just mean to keep them behind a gate in the kitchen while we are in the living room.. NOT like keeping them locked up in a dark closet.

Discipline:
positive reinforcement

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
a lot of time would be spend in our townhouse.. some time at the nearby park taking walks and playing. My mom and i work different schedules so he would not be lonely!
