Who is this dog for?

Myself

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I have always had a love for corgis and their personalities. I have friends who have corgis that I have been around and I have also researched the breed to have a better understanding of them and I think one would be a perfect fit in my home. I am a very active person that has a very flexible work schedule allowing me to be home often to be with my dog. If a new corgi would require medical expenses or professional training, I am more than willing to do so as I have already for my dog Charley who would love a new friend in the home.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
I have a fenced in backyard that is perfect for playing fetch and just to run around. I already take my dog Charley on daily walks so I would be taking any new corgi on them as well. I have plenty of dog toys that I would use to play with them in the house too. If I have to be at work, I either have a family member watch my dog or take him to doggy daycare so he always has something to do and is never alone. I also take my dog swimming at a nearby lake with walks around it and on the beach so the corgi would join in on these activities as well.

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
I would tell them "no" and work with training and redirecting them to more positive behaviors. If they would require professional training, I would get them that as well.

Discipline:
I would teach them "no" so that they knew what they did wrong and use positive reinforcement when they listen.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
They would be at my house either inside or being let outside to play with supervision or to go on a walk.

Where would dog eat?
The corgi would eat in the kitchen where the dog bowls would be set up.

Where would dog sleep:
The corgi would sleep in the house on a dog bed or they may sleep on the couch too.

Play & exercise:
I have a fenced in yard that I take my current dog out to play fetch and run around under my supervision multiple times a day on top of getting a daily walk around the neighborhood so the corgi would get to do this as well.
