Who is this dog for?

Myself

Why do you want a Pembroke?
I love corgis — I'm from San Francisco, and I have been going to Corgi-con twice a year every year for the past 6 years. I love their butts and silly playfulness. One of my coworkers owned one, who I would dogsit approximately three times a year.

Activities planned with Pembroke:
Go on walks, play fetch. My building has a private dog play area, so I would also try and take him there to meet other dogs to play with.

Yes

Willing to house train?
Yes
Willing to do formal training? Yes

Do you have a veterinarian?

No

Vet contact info:

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
I would make sure he/she knew that he/she broke a rule, and would be very strict to enforce that it could not be broken again.

Discipline:
I usually use a harsh sound, or say "Bad dog" in a low disaproving voice. When younger having a "time out" mechanism is effective as well and will not give in — I think the key is to be more stubborn than the dog.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
My apartment and my office – I can take the dog to work.
