Who is this dog for?

Both of us!

Why do you want a Pembroke?
We love everything about Welsh Corgi's, its been our go to breed, but we don't like going to puppy mills. We love the thought of adopting an adult who needs love and a home. A relative of mine used to have one and they are just all around wonderful dogs!

Activities planned with Pembroke:
I would take them on walks, nap with them, take them on car rides, and maybe let them be my running buddy or hiking buddy.

Vet contact info:

Will handle mistakes Pembroke makes like this:
I don't like to yell but I wont let them think its right. I would rather make a loud noise like a clap and say something other then no (if they are used to that) and let them know that, what they did isn't a good thing. I do not believe in hitting dogs to discipline them.

Discipline:
When we had dogs we used a lot of loud noises and said like "Foowie!" because to us saying No could be bad, because if you are saying no to another animal or person, the dog may think its in trouble. Another way was that there would be a box of some sort and we would say climb and they would sit there and know they were wrong because when they were on there only when they were being bad.

Where would Pembroke spend the majority of the time:
Most of the time at home, but when we would get home from work they would be enjoying the outside life! I do love a snuggle bug though!

No, but they will have the company of our wonderful friendly cat Rusty!

Where would dog eat?
They would eat in the kitchen! They would probably eat before us or with us so they don't feel left out. They would most definitely be feed in another room from our cat if needed.

Where would dog sleep:
With us or in the soft warm bed we buy of the Pembroke's pick!

Play & exercise:
I will take the Pembroke out as much as possible! After being at a desk job all day even I want to come home and play! I can honestly say they will get the most possible play and exercise I can muster up!
